Why did you start doing a beauty blog?

I've been a total beauty product addict for as long as I can remember. I often felt let down by expensive products that didn't work so decided to investigate what really works so that you don't make similar mistakes.

Are you a beauty journalist?

I have got journalism training but I would not classify myself as a beauty journalist as such. I'm a woman like you who just wants to share her experiences in an honest way.

Do you really have a pet hedgehog?

Yes. I wanted a dog but my husband bought me an African Pygmy Hedgehog instead. He is called Hetty Wainthropp (We thought he was a she for the first year of his life) and is very grumpy.

Is this blog really 100% honest?

Some of the products that I review are sent to me by PR companies and I therefore haven't paid for them.

It is of upmost importance to me that I am always honest with you and I will never write good things about a product unless I truly believe it to be so.

I test many products that I don't like and I either don't feature them in this blog or write honestly about them.

If I am sponsored to write a post I will always make it 100% clear at the top of the blog that it is an advertorial/sponsored feature.

I take great pride in being 100% honest and transparent.
